Poly Master PM / Export machines are clamping-type automatic knife grinders for re-grinding the knives of all Indian and imported paper cutting machines, guillotines and three side trimmers.
The motor base swivels 10 to 25 degrees, so a knife can be ground straight or concave. Paper knives need only a 5 degree swivel.
- Cast iron clamping table with T-slots and clamps; table locks mechanically by hand
- Swivelling table for bevel grinding in one setting, with multiple large-journal bearing points for rigidity
- Cylindrical wheel head for light grinders, segmental heads for heavy grinding
- Quick segment changing station at the rear, and patented segment savers
- Wheel flanges and segment heads fitted with adjustable balancing weights for vibration-free running
- Welded, modular machine bed with smooth inner area for good coolant drainage and easy cleaning
- Hardened and ground steel bands for main and side guideways, easily exchangeable
- Heavy casting carriage on four reels with eight dust-proof ball bearings
- Multiple spindle down-feed for play and weight equalisation; automatic down-feed optional
- Siemens or Bharat Bijlee motors
- Water tank with electro-coolant pump; all electrical controls in one master panel board
